Troubleshooting
Check authentication, subscription, credits, freshness, and network state in order.
401 INVALID_API_KEY#
Confirm the sm_live_ prefix, Bearer syntax, active/rotating state, and that no whitespace was copied.
402 subscription or credits#
Confirm a paid subscription is active and the current internal-month balance is positive. Free key verification still works at zero balance.
503 service or data#
Retry after checking the status page. DATA_STALE means the last successful snapshot exceeded the maximum freshness window.
Support#
Provide the request ID, UTC timestamp, operation, and HTTP status. Never send the full API key.
